COP Kofi Boakye denies allegations of instigating chaos at KIA

The Director of Security Operations at the Presidency has denied allegations of instigating chaos at Terminals 2 and 3 of the Kotoka International Airport (KIA).

In a statement, COP Nathan Kofi Boakye (Rtd) clarified that he had, in fact, intervened to prevent further disturbances caused by a group of unruly individuals.

The press release indicated that the move was to ensure the safety of passengers, staff, and property.

The retired police officer, who served for over 30 years before his retirement in April 2023, reaffirmed his commitment to upholding law and order in his current role.
